**Job Summary**
Are you passionate about supporting students, families, and school staff? As a Family/School Coordinator (FCS) with our PUF team, you’ll be the key liaison ensuring smooth, high-quality programming and connection between families, students, and staff. You’ll manage everything from family communication and classroom logistics to program documentation and coordination of student transportation, supporting day-to-day operations that make a difference in our students' lives.

This position is a six-month term contract through the end of the 2025 school year, with the possibility of renewal for the following academic year.

**What You’ll Do**:

- **Program Coordination**: Act as the first point of contact for families, bus drivers, and Alberta Health Services. You’ll coordinate daily transportation, manage student records, answer program inquiries, and keep families up-to-date with essential information.
- **Classroom Support**: Step in to help where needed, whether it’s leading small group activities, creating materials, coaching Educational Assistants (EAs), or filling in for absent staff. You’ll work closely with teachers and clinicians to ensure students receive targeted, individualized support.
- **Additional Responsibilities**: Represent the PUF program on the OH&S Committee, participate in staff meetings, and contribute to training new staff. Your work will help maintain a safe, positive, and productive learning environment.

**What You Bring**:

- A diploma or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (education, psychology, social work, etc.) or equivalent experience.
- Ideally, six months or more experience working with children, particularly those with Autism or special needs.
- Strong communication skills, solid organizational abilities, and an understanding of child development.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
- A Police Information check, Intervention Record check, and valid First Aid certification with CPR.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: From $27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
