Upper Canada Child Care is looking for passionate and committed child care professionals to join our Team located in **Barrie, ON.**

We are currently recruiting for **Registered Early Childhood Educators or equivalent (Child and Youth Worker or OCT Member) and Assistant Educators**.

**Starting Pay**:
**RECE $21.07 - $24.79/hour plus Wage Enhancement Grant ($2.00/hr) and Split Shift Premium ($2.00/hr).**

**Assistant $17.70 - $20.82/hour plus Wage Enhancement Grant ($2.00/hr) and Split Shift Premium ($2.00/hr).**

**Position Types: Casual Supply status (variable hours).**

**SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education (or approved equivalency) from a recognized college or university (for ECE position).
- A recent Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Health assessment and up-to-date record of immunization as outlined by legislation.
- Up-to-date registration with the College of ECEs (if applicable).
- Up-to-date certification in CPR-C and Standard First Aid (training provided upon selection if required).
- Experience with program design and implementation, preferably play/inquiry based with the use of pedagogical documentation.
- Ability to communicate effectively and establish appropriate relationships with families, caregivers and other professionals.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and maintain professional disposition.
- Have the physical and emotional stamina to supervise children in a variety of settings including outdoor public spaces.
