**Talent Acquisition Specialist**

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Develop recruitment strategies to deliver the current and future talent needs for the business and projects, including sourcing strategies for key individuals (KI)
- Use analytics and technology (LI Recruiter) to achieve efficient and effective outcomes in a fast-paced project environment.
- Maintain an Equity, Diversity & Inclusion lens on all talent acquisition activities.
- Ensure that role profiles for project searches are clear, robust, and reflective of project needs and nuances.
- Liaise with the HR business partner community across sectors to explore available with the partner company talent.
- Assist project leaders with resource planning needs and determining the need and/or opportunity for internal talent mobility vs external talent sourcing.
- Promote career opportunities within projects and the Concessions segment by enticing employees with transferable skills.
- Engage with project leaders to understand the pipeline of roles required in the near and midterm.
- Train, direct and motivate staff.
- Assign, co-ordinate and review projects and programs
- Oversee the classification and rating of occupations.
- Plan, develop and implement recruitment strategies.
- Manage training and development strategies.
- Oversee the analysis of employee data and information.
- Oversee the preparation of reports.
- Advise senior management.
- Respond to employee questions and complaints.
- Liaise with management, union officials and HR consultants.
- Organize and administer staff consultation and grievance procedures.
- Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations.
- Staff recruitment and selection.

**REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE**
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a progressive HR management role.
- University Degree, in Human Resources and/or Phycology.
- Demonstrated success working in a fast-paced project environment.
- Experience in a large, multi-faceted, matrix company is required.
- Ability to work effectively with all levels of management and employees.
- Construction and railways industry experience is required.
- Experience with all facets of HR including employee relations, recruiting, learning, compensation, analytics, and employee engagement programs.
- Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity and determine appropriate required actions.
- Proven results in talent acquisition including sourcing, leveraging metrics, and recruitment marketing, and team leadership.
- Demonstrated passion for developing team talent.
- Demonstrated ability to focus on critical details and define and execute an appropriate path forward.
- Able to properly evaluate the quality of evidence and reasoning, then draw appropriate conclusions.
- Computer Skills: MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Word, SAP (FI/CO / HR / MM / OT SD) Required
- Excellent English Communication (spoken/written) Required.

- You are a Canadian citizen, a permanent or a temporary resident of Canada.
- You have a valid Canadian work permit.
