Jr. Human Resource Generalist

SE Health is seeking a Junior HR Generalist or HR Specialist to support our Managed Services Business. Managed Services Business line provides support to our HR Shared Services clients and reports into the HR Manager. This position will be working 60% of the time with one of our clients with Talent Acquisition functions and rest of the 40% of the time supporting the rest of our client base with Talent Acquisition and other HR related function.
This position requires an individual who will demonstrate a high level of responsibility and professionalism, proactive mindset, with excellent communication and organizational skills. Location - On-site - **55 towns center court**
**1 year contract**
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
**Talent Acquisition**
- Working closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and conduct need analysis and prepare the job postings
- Placing and maintaining job postings across various platforms
- Coordinating the interviews and support hiring managers in interviews as part of the hiring panel
- Support contract management
- Conducting employment reference and background checks
- Manage HRIS administration, create and maintain employee profile for new hires in our HRIS
- General office/administrative support
**Human Resources Function**
- Full cycle recruitment and hiring process
- Assist with preparation of employment contracts and other HR documentation such as disciplinary letters, employment contracts, termination documents, HR forms and letter of employments
- Assist with the update and creation of HR Policies and procedures, which would require keeping abreast with Employment Standards legislative requirements
- Work closely with the HR Manager to conduct workplace investigations
- Work closely with the HR Manager to consult on employee relations and disability management cases
- Provide back up support for HR Manager during her absence
- Work on projects as assigned
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline or the equivalent combination of education and/or experience in human resources
- 1 to 3 years experience working as an HR Assistant, Recruiter, or HR Generalist is a requirement
- Excellent communication skills, interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural awareness
- Considerable experience overseeing end-to-end recruitment processes in a complex organization
- Advanced knowledge of MS Office, HRIS systems and comfortable learning new technical systems as needed.
- Strong ability to establish effective working relationships with various stakeholders using a consultative approach and ensuring the delivery of superior customer service.
- Resourceful, problem solving aptitude and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies
- Knowledge of Provincial Employment Standards and regulations
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to pay attention to detail required
