**Job Summary**:
We are currently looking for enthusiastic female role models who are passionate about getting involved in their community and helping people supported achieve their goals and develop their skills. The Direct Support Professional (DSP) assists individuals living with intellectual disabilities within their community with a focus on individual preferences and personal growth and provide supports to people in their homes and in the community.

**What we have**:

- Morning, day and afternoon hours between the hours of 8am-4pm

**What will you bring to the role?**

What our employees do daily will vary depending on the personal goals and interests of the person or people they are assisting. Some things you could do in your role of a Direct Support Professional include;
- Assistance to develop lasting friendships with neighbors, peers and others
- Providing people with information to make their own choices
- Assisting people through difficult life situations
- Employees give people the support to contribute to the community in valuable ways through living independently in their own homes, obtaining employment, building relationships and having equal access to opportunities that many take for granted.
- What our employees do daily will vary depending on the personal goals and interests of the person or people they are assisting.

**What you need**:

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Experience supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities an asset.
- The ability to read, write and speak English fluently is necessary
- The ability to multitask, problem-solve and take initiative
- Excellent interpersonal & communication skills
- The ability to maintain integrity in all situations
- **Driver's license required.**_
