**Direct Support Professional (Full-Time, Day Shifts) - Garden City Area**

We are seeking a Direct Support Professional for an individual (ICOF Employer) in her 30s requiring in-home support in the Garden City area.

**Employment Status**: Full-time, Permanent

**Schedule**:Monday to Friday from 7am to 3pm (Day Shift)

**Wage**: Starting at $15.11/hour

**Benefits**:Pension match and health benefits after probation period

**Location**:Garden City Area in Winnipeg, Manitoba

**Responsibilities include providing overall care and support for the individual (ICOF Employer), including but not limited to**:

- Assisting the employer with personal care
- Supporting the employer with meal preparation
- Accompanying the employer for medical appointments
- Supporting the employer in taking brief walks outdoors or on outings
- Assisting with housekeeping activities

**Qualifications**:

- Previous experience in a direct support worker role is an asset but not required
- Clear adult abuse check required
- Clear criminal record check required
- Valid CPR certificate required
- Must be comfortable using or being trained on hoists/lift and transfer

With the guidance and support of a Support Network (unpaid family and friends), each individual chooses where to live, manages a budget, hires staff, and chooses where to work or volunteer.
