**WHAT YOU’LL DO**

As the Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for sourcing RFP (Request for Proposal) opportunities and the coordination of high-quality, compliant proposals that align with MAKRs business strategies. You will use your strong product, brand and company knowledge to prepare RFPs for successful submissions.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Source and evaluate Request for Proposals (RFPs) and leads through bid services and other methods
- Build and deploy a successful response strategy
- Prepare and facilitate requests for information, clarifications, and addendums
- Review and summarize various technical documents (e.g. planning, engineering, legal) to evaluate concerns and opportunities pertaining to potential risks and opportunities
- Coordinate proposal efforts across multiple departments and manage deliverables through various roles within the organization
- Monitor and control project processes, related documentation, and maintain digital filing system throughout each proposal project
- Compile high quality, professional presentation packages and supporting documentation with adherence to strategic objectives and company brand standards
- Submit compliant proposals by deadline and work with the sales team to track submission outcomes
- Collect feedback on all proposal submissions from internal stakeholders and work with the RSR to obtain customer feedback on all submissions, won and lost
- Build and maintain proposal library of templates, written content, resumes, infographics, references, key projects and relevant images
- Identify areas to improve to ensure a high-quality proposal layout and aesthetic
- Maintain proposal and lead management process documentation
- Other proposal and lead management duties as required

**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- 2+ years’ experience with business process coordination
- 1+ years’ experience with RFP evaluation
- Post-secondary diploma/degree, or equivalent work experience
- Experience with Customer Relationship Management software
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word
- Graphic design, proposal software and/or visual marketing experience

- This is an onsite position located at 12824 141 St NW, Edmonton, AB T5L 4N8
- This position works Monday to Friday, 8-hour days
