**Position Description**:
The Nursing and Allied Health Summer Student (NAHSS) will assist with several process improvement projects supporting the Division of Haematology/Oncology. The student(s) will work with an interdisciplinary team and play a key role in data collection, analysis and project design and implementation.

**We are recruiting two Summer Nursing Students to support the following projects**:

- **Fertility Preservation Program Refresh Project** : Aim to provide a current state assessment of fertility preservation practices including patient and family resources across oncology sections
- **Oncology Family Education Committee Projects** : Aim to re-evaluate the COG KidsCare App after changes in the implementation and dissemination of the App, and coordinate and support implementation plan for patient/family educational videos

**The NAHSS program specifies that all students will have the following responsibilities**:

- Must attend summer student lectureships/relevant education rounds
- Submit a one-page project report at the end of the contract

**Here's What You Need**:

- Availability to work 35 hr/week for length of project - **combination of virtually and on site at SickKids**:

- Enrolled in an undergraduate Nursing program
- Interest in pediatric oncology, patient and family experience, and process improvement
- Experience with literature reviews is an asset but not mandatory

**Employment Type** : Full Time, Summer contract (8-10 weeks)
