TITLE**:HEALTHY AGING AND HOSPITALITY SERVICES Course
- INSTRUCTOR (Sessional) at the Bachelor in Hospitality Management**

We are thrilled to announce that we are hiring Sessional Instructors for our Bachelor of Hospitality Management for the next coming Winter of 2025.

**HOSP316 Healthy Aging and Hospitality Services**:A shift in population demographics and an increasingly wealthy aging population is driving a change in leisure experience expectations. Lifestyle and leisure experiences are being informed by changing social stratification, psychographics, consumer behaviour, marketing segmentation and product differentiation.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Part-time, contract

TERM: Winter 2025 (January 2025 - April 2025)

SCHEDULE: Flexible, dependent on the availability. Minimum 1 course (5 hours per week, including 2 office hours), Maximum 3 courses (15 hours per week, including 6 office hours).

SALARY: From $5,500 to $6,500 per course, per term (15 weeks)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR SESSIONAL INSTRUCTOR:

- 2 years of experience teaching the same or similar courses at another BC post-secondary institution
- 1-2 years of experience in the Health Care sector for adults.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

- Excellent Communication Skills
- Able to prepare detailed lesson plans
- Able to use technology and online teaching technique
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Excellent instructional capability
- Able to maintain professionalism
- Strong Proficiency in English
