Job Position - Business Development Representative
Reports to Sales Manager
Location - Tillsonburg, Ontario

Our teams quickly identified the need for enhancing the aesthetics and performance of the interior space for the architectural market such as corporate, healthcare, residential and many other.
**Position Summary**
As the Business Development Representative, you will be responsible for developing interest and/or securing architectural and design presentation opportunities. You will actively identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by calling on architects, designers, distributors, and related contractors
**Primary Responsibilities**
Under the supervision of the Sales Manager, the duties and responsibilities of the Business Development Representative person include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Research and qualify leads in the Architectural and Design community with the intent of securing virtual or in-person presentations for the sales team.
- Act as part of the sales team with Region Sales Managers, Inside Sales, distributor reps and A&D reps.
- Identify and develop key training opportunities for potential clients to develop quality relationships and to create brand awareness and loyalty.
- Work in conjunction with Business Development Manager to achieve key performance targets set out by the Organization.
- Participate in weekly Sales meetings with the team.
- Timely manage and communicate across all parties to ensure successful implementation of sales programs including updating sales activities in CRM Software - Salesforce.
- Ability to understand or develop an understanding of the architectural and interior design products market including technical drawings.
- Other duties as assigned.
**Skills and Ability Expectations**
- Excellent communication skills (written, verbal, nonverbal, and presentation); able to convey strong, clear messages to target audiences of all sizes including co-workers, leadership, customers, and industry groups
- Conduct business with a high level of ethical standards and integrity
- Demonstrated planning, time management, and organizational skills
- Strong drive for results and consistently meets deadlines
- Office Suite, CRM system (e.g. SalesForce).
**Working Conditions**
- Ability to travel throughout North America (must have appropriate documentation to enable travel freely in Canada and the United States)
- Work normal business hours but may be required to do some work in the evening or outside of normal working hours; and
- Able to work on a computer for long periods of time.
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- 2+ years sales
- Completion of post-secondary diploma or degree from a designated University or College;
