An exciting opportunity for **Supply Chain Assistant**. This is a four-month contract position opportunity with Qvella Corporation located in Richmond Hill, Ontario.
**Nature and Scope of Work**:
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily:

- Sourcing potential suppliers as needed
- Assist with monitoring status of purchase orders requests
- Assist with creating, monitor and expediting purchase orders
- Assist the Senior Buyer & Planner with inventory & non inventory materials used on a regular basis
- Perform other related duties as assigned

**Qualifications and Requirements**:

- Comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Excel, Word & Access
- Buying/Planning experience is an asset
- Impeccable attention to detail
- Ability to work well with a team
- Work well in a small team and be able to handle the pressure of meeting tight deadlines
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English

**Education**:

- Currently enrolled or recently graduated from a post-secondary education studies in a related field
