**This is an**_ in-office _**position. Monday - Friday, 8AM-5PM**
**Key Responsibilities**:
- ** Develop and Manage a Portfolio**: Build your own book of business through proactive B2B cold calling and client outreach.
- **Client Engagement**: Follow up with both new and existing clients, offer tailored freight solutions, and close deals.
- **Understanding Client Needs**: Continuously assess and understand the evolving needs of new and current clients to offer the most efficient and cost-effective shipping solutions.
- **Business Prospecting**: Continuously identify and pursue new business opportunities to drive growth.
- **Cross-Functional Coordination**: Collaborate with Operations Management and Logistics Coordinators to exceed client needs and expectations.
**Key Attributes**:
- ** Education and Experience**: Post-secondary education in a relevant field or equivalent industry experience.
- **Technical Skills**: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, familiarity in Excel, Outlook and Word.
- **Attention to Detail**: Strong organizational skills with excellent time management and attention to detail.
- **Client Relationship Management**: Proven ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- **Motivation and Attitude**: Highly driven, self-motivated, and proactive with a go-getter mindset.
