**ABOUT THE ROLE**
The **Manager, Help Ahead (Central Point of Intake) **will provide day-to-day leadership and clinical supervision to the Central Point of Intake staff to ensure high quality service to children, youth, families, referral sources, allied sectors, and partners. This, includes coaching, mentoring, monitoring, and evaluating performance goals, and support for professional development and job satisfaction.
**_ Salary range:_** _$75,211.00 to $87,585.00 per annum_

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**
- Ensure high quality mental health services and processes are delivered to meet the needs of infants, children, youth, and their families.
- Ensure Central Point of Intake is operating efficiently, effectively, and equitably.
- Maintain safety and manage risk for the clients and the organization.
- Provide on call support to organization's programs (rotating basis).
- Follow organizational policies and procedures to ensure safety of staff, clients and the community.
- Ensure Incident/ Serious occurrence reports are in accordance to ministry requirements.
- Attain and retain qualified and skilled workers to deliver high quality mental health services to our clients and family.
- Create and maintain formal and informal partnerships with our main referral sources and core service providers, and other community stakeholders.
- Help maintain the integrity of the organization and ensure that we are being current and innovative.
**THE “MUST HAVES”**
The following education, professional memberships and knowledge are a requirement for this role:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or equivalent.
- Membership in the appropriate professional regulatory body.
- 2 - 4 years experience with program development and management experience.
- Management and oversight experience of similar types of services.
- Extensive supervisory experience, preferably within children's mental health.
- Effective team building in the context of a culturally diverse working environment.
- Ability to translate strategic direction into an operational action plan.
- Experience managing program budgets/ funds and delivering statistical/ quality outcomes.
- Experience with contract reviews with outside service providers.
- Comfort working with electronic client information systems and appropriate quality control mechanisms.
- Superior organizational skills.
- Excellent communication skills as well as effective judgment, presentation, and conflict management skills.
**THE ‘NICE TO HAVES’**
- Knowledge of the community served by the organization.
- Functional computer and client information system knowledge.
- Knowledge of the cultural diversity of communities served by the organization.
- Fluency in another language(s), including sign language.
**BEFORE STARTING WITH US**
