**Job title: Process Control Technician**
Job role responsibilities
Solution & Coating Preparation
- To conduct pre-operational check before the start of the production.
- To work with R&D and production department respectively to prepare the solution/Coating as per the instruction on the formula sheet.
- Verify and record:
- Against the production schedule that correct formula sheet is provided before the batching process begins.
- The amount and LOT# used per ingredient mentioned on the formula sheet.
- Brix, temperature, and other parameters on the formula sheet.
- To work with QA department, for inventory control over the ingredients belonging to solution and coatings made.
- To coordinate with purchasing department for the procurement of the raw materials as and when required.
- Troubleshoot and work with lead hand to setup the production line for coating and solution supply.
- Monitor that Solution & Coating is uniform throughout the production.
- Verify the LOT# recorded by the on-line QC is correct for the solution and coating used.
Solution & Coating Equipment (tank and enrober)
- Monitor the volume and temperature of the tank is consistent throughout the production.
- Verify the label description matches the contents of the equipment.
- Monitor the allergen crossover when switching the contents of the equipment.
- Work with production scheduler and Sanitation manager to monitor and make sure the tank, enrober are cleaned and are available before the production commences.
- After Sanitation, work with on-line QC for the approval of the equipment to be released for use.
- To work with QA department for routine environmental and allergen swabbing of the equipment’s used and the solution room.
Qualifications:
- Good with arithmetic functions.
- Must have basic Chemistry background.
- Must have Forklift license or must be willing to obtain one.
- Must be able to do lift 50lbs.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks.
**Salary**: $15.76-$16.00 per hour
