**Toronto Pearson is transforming. Now’s the time for your career to soar.**

Do you want to help transform Toronto Pearson into the global airport of the future? We’re committed to becoming one of the most advanced, sustainable, and passenger-friendly airports in the world - and we need your help. This is your chance to play an essential role: building the story of Pearson’s transformation and engaging meaningfully with a range of critical partners to build trust and support for organizational mandates and priorities.

**What’s in it for you?**

- Comprehensive and highly competitive healthcare and benefit coverage including RRSP plans with company match
- A flexible hybrid work environment, continuous internal and external learning opportunities, and a meaningful reward and recognition program

**What can you expect from this position?**

Under the general guidance of the Vice President Governance, Corporate Safety and Security, the Director will be accountable for advancing the organization’s safety and security vision, strategy, and culture.

You will provide and ensure the implementation of a best-in-class organization and airport-wide strategic safety and security management programs, policies, plans, and processes to mitigate the risks associated with the airport’s operation and to ensure regulatory and legal compliance. A forward thinker, you will stay apprised of emerging risks and evolving best practices and strategies and will drive the incorporation of new and emerging approaches within the safety and security environment, including technology to ensure we are continually enhancing the safety and security program and that we are poised to accelerate Toronto Pearson’s transformative journey.

You will be an inspirational and effective leader with a track record of competency in the field of safety and security in complex operational real-time environments, who is capable of leading the organization through significant security and safety incidents. You will develop internal and external relationships, locally, nationally and internationally, and positively influence the airport community, law enforcement, airport agencies and government relationships specific to safety and security, in support of a culture of safety and security accountability across the airport environment.

**Who are we looking for?**

You are a thought leader with advanced relationship and stakeholder management skills who is adept at crisis management. You are highly networked and have knowledge of global industry hazards, threats and trends that could be disruptive or can be leveraged to support the enterprise.

**This is the role for you, if you have**:
