In this pivotal role, you’ll report to the Head of Projects and oversee the entire architectural design process—from concept to completion. You’ll ensure projects align with client goals, meet regulatory standards, and are delivered on time and within budget. **Key Responsibilities** Project Oversight
- Plan, schedule, and manage design projects from start to finish.

- Communicate with stakeholders to deliver cohesive, functional designs.
Client Engagement and Expertise
- Act as the primary architectural contact for clients—presenting designs, addressing feedback, and ensuring their needs are met.
- Solve complex design challenges by selecting appropriate materials, layouts, and structures to ensure functionality and compliance.
- Promote design innovations and incorporate sustainable practices when possible.
**Required Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture.
- Licensed member of the Ontario Association of Architects (OAA).
- In-depth knowledge of the Ontario Building Code, Accessibility Standards, and Zoning/Municipal Bylaws.
- Proficiency in producing working drawings and construction details.
- Solid understanding of building materials, specifications, and construction techniques.
- Advanced certifications, such as LEED accreditation.
- Experience working with governmental agencies on permits and zoning.
- Knowledge of emerging technologies, such as parametric design or smart building systems.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit.
- Familiarity with SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite, and Building Information Modeling (BIM) is an asset.
- Experience with 3D visualization tools like Lumion is a plus.
**Work Experience**
- Minimum five (5) years of architectural experience, with a strong track record in project delivery and client management.
- Experience designing manufacturing, logistics, or warehousing facilities.
**What we look for**
- Strong understanding of applicable design standards, building codes and general engineering principles.
- Ability to take initiative and have a high degree of judgement in problem solving.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively convey ideas, problems and solutions to diverse stakeholders.
- Strong time management skills to oversee multiple responsibilities and deadlines efficiently.
- Capability to thrive in a dynamic workplace and respond proactively to changing priorities.
