**Powell Foundations Inc. (PFI)**, a member of the Powell Group of Companies, strives to provide clients with all their foundation needs. We specialize in the construction of temporary excavation protection, pile driving, deep caisson shafts, sheet pile cofferdams, noise barriers and overhead sign footings.

We are growing and looking to add a **Locates Coordinator** to our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Coordinate Locate requirements with project coordinators &/or managers
- Organize and manage all electronic locate documentation, tasks and locate assignments
- Coordinate requirements and ensure all required documents are received from the various utility companies involved in the excavation
- Create site sketches & maps using various software programs
- Schedule & maintain Private Locates as required Initiate Locates and obtains Ticket# through ON1 Call Coordinate & process Locates with ON1 Call Online and via phone
- Assist PM’s with all pre-excavation documents
- Maintain Locate Tasks & assignments Other tasks as required

**Qualifications**:

- Construction experience, previous work as a coordinator is an asset
- Completion of a Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering/Construction Management or working towards
- Experience with MTO projects an asset
- Demonstrated time management, scheduling and negotiations skills
- Strong communication skills and results oriented with a sense of urgency and effective problem-solving skills
- Must be organized and flexible to changing business conditions and a fast-past work environment
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and knowledge of Jonas is an asset
- Must have a clean driving record and a valid G driver’s license
