Front Desk Administrator

**Position: Front Desk Office Administrator**
**Type: Full-Time & Part Time**
**Location: Markham**
The first **month** of employment will be considered a **probationary period**, during which the employee's performance will be closely monitored and reviewed. Following successful completion of the probationary period, the employee will be confirmed in their poition based on their performance and fit within our team.
**Responsibilities**:
- Greet and welcome students, parents, and visitors upon their arrival, ensuring they feel valued and assisted
- Manage phone calls and answering inquiries
- Oversee appointment scheduling for lesson bookings, studio rentals, and event reservations
- Maintain organized administrative records, including student enrolments, attendance, payments, and other related documentation
- Coordinate and communicate with instructors regarding class schedules, changes, and other necessary updates
- Create promotional materials, uncluding designing posters and flyers for school events
- Process tuition payments, issue recripts, and manage basic bookkeeping tasks
- Ensure that the front desk and lobby areas are tidy, organized, and conducive to a positive learning environment
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary school deploma or equivalent is required
- Hold **A background in design and arts, **as there will be occasional tasks related to graphic design
- Strong verbal and written communication skill **in both English and Madarine**:
- Previous experience in administrative roles, customer service, or relevant positions
- Proficiency with computer systems, including Microsoft Office Suite and scheduling software
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
