_**Administrative Assistant/Receptionist**_

**About us**:
Orangeville Family Medical Centre is a small business in Orangeville, ON. We are inclusive and creative.

Our busy clinic is looking for one Part-time and one Full-time Receptionist/Administrator to preform a number of administrative duties, including greeting patients, answering phones, booking appointments, medical billing etc.

**Responsibilities**:

- 5pm, as well as one evening weekly (12pm-8pm) and be in the rotation for a Saturday clinic (approx. one in every 5 weeks).

**Specifically, you will**:

- Greet and screen patients for symptoms as they arrive, check them in for appointment, including taking payment or OHIP card as required;
- Make patient appointments via in person and by phone and manage providers’ schedules to maximize patient appointments;
- Create and maintain patient records in Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system, containing all consent forms and relevant documentation;
- Receive and send faxes, make photocopies and scan documents;
- Maintain the confidentiality of all patient information to ensure patient privacy is protected at all times;
- Medical billing, update health card information.
- Other duties as required.

**Education**:

- A minimum of one-year related healthcare experience in a busy healthcare clinic
- Completion of the Certificate of Medical Office Administration is a strong asset

**OR**
- Extensive customer service work experience

**Experience/Skills**:

- Experience using an electronic medical record system an asset (PS Suite)
- Confidentiality
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Medical billing and terminology
- Team player
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure while remaining calm.
- Must have strong time-management skills and be able to prioritize requests and job duties.
- Dependability, punctuality and excellent attendance are essential.
- Must be willing to provide COVID-19 proof of vaccination

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.33-$20.35 per hour
