At PeakMade, our Housekeepers are responsible for ensuring resident satisfaction by maintaining the appearance and cleanliness of our community and community units. This role will assist in a variety of housekeeping duties that will help keep the community at its best.

**Essential Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Prepare vacant units for occupancy as necessary. Always ensure a professional appearance.
- Provide regular housekeeping services within occupied units, in accordance to a pre-arranged schedule, that include the cleaning of common area floors, bathroom floors, toilets, sinks, tub/showers, kitchens, counters, appliances, dusting of the blinds, etc.
- Specific tasks include, but are not limited to:

- Mopping
- Dusting
- Vacuuming
- Cleaning and sanitizing
- Checking fire alarms while in units
- Laundry
- Cleaning light fixtures
- Cleaning out dryer vents
- Wiping down stair rails, vents and hard surfaces
- Interior and exterior cleanup as needed
- Frequent bending and other physically active work
- Carrying of supplies and equipment
- Issuing notices of entry
- Maintain cleanliness of the leasing office, amenity areas and other common areas as scheduled by the Cleaning Manager.
- Perform regular interior and exterior inspections of each unit to identify and report on deferred maintenance or damages requiring repair, potential lease violations or other inappropriate activity.
- Perform annual deep cleaning of units that are turned over to new residents.
- Keep accurate record of inventory, supplies and equipment owned by the property and/or Peak.
- Ensure compliance with all safety rules and proper PPE.
- Provide courteous and efficient response to resident needs and management requests.
- Other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications, Skills & Abilities**:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience working directly with customers or in a hospitality related field. Residential cleaning experience preferred.
- Must be knowledgeable and skilled in the safe use and maintenance of cleaning fluids and tools.
- Ability to work individually or in a team environment.
- A positive attitude and respect for your team, residents and vendors.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to be self-driven and manage time effectively.

**Requirements**:A Police Criminal Record Check will be required as part of the pre-employment process.

**Working Environment**:
**Physical Effort**:Constantly moving, walking, stooping, carrying weighted items, climbing up sets of stairs, reaching and crouching to operate vacuums on stairs and in tight areas. pMust be able to lift and/or move up to 14 kg.

**Physical Environment**:Working outdoors in all conditions (Extreme Heat and Cold, Snow, Rain, Ice etc.). Exposure to irritating odours and dust when cleaning resident units (ie. Chemicals, smoke, food aromas, personal hygiene aromas).

**Sensory Attention**:Exposed to noise and vibration when working with equipment.

**Mental Stress**:Time sensitive responsibilities, requiring prioritization and time management.

**Time Requirement**:

- Full time, 35-44 hours per week, Monday Friday
- Some weekends & evenings during the turnover period in April and May.
- After hours and emergency duties as scheduled.
