Marsh is the leading logistics broker in Canada and Globally, working closely with our US team on many cross-border clients and initiatives. We are expanding our logistics team to meet this growing and challenging class of insurance and seek an energetic and spirited person to match.

**Associate Client Executive**

**What can you expect?**
- As a member of the broking team within the Marine Practice, you would help provide the expertise to service our clients
- You’ll be responsible for leading the advice, service, and solution activities for clients within marine specific product lines in collaboration with the client executive, advisory leader, practice leader, transaction specialist, product, or marine industry specialist, and/or carrier
- You’ll be viewed as a trusted business advisor by clients through effective dialogues that nurture the client relationship, demonstrate practice expertise and ability to tap into the breadth and depth of Marsh’s zonal, national, and global resources

**We will count on you to**:

- Develop a deep understanding of the clients’ business, strategic priorities, risk strategies and risk management needs
- Utilize risk expertise and knowledge of industry and markets, review clients’ exposures and loss experience; analyze risks and develop solutions for client’s needs
- Develop and execute a renewal/placement strategy in conjunction with the Placement Specialist, Advisory Leader, and Client Executive
- Work in partnership with Placement Specialists to receive, negotiate and evaluate quotes from carriers and present to clients
- Build and maintain relationships with clients, and serve as their primary contact
- Review policies and endorsements, and initiate draft recommendations for corrections or enhancements to coverage
- Work with Client Executive to determine the impact of solutions and articulate value to client
- Create and present renewal proposals to existing clients and participate in presentations to prospective clients
- Contribute to retention through high quality and timely service
- Some travel as needed

**What you need to have**:

- Ideally 2+ years of commercial insurance or relevant experience
- Strong knowledge of applicable industry and markets, along with strong risk service and solution delivery skills
- Exceptional customer or client service experience
- Excellent verbal/written communication skills
- RIBO license or ability to obtain one within 90 days of hire
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
