**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities of the Accounting Associate**
- Perform bookkeeping tasks by processing bank statements, investment statements, and other client-provided documents using QuickBooks and Excel.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Post monthly accruals as directed by management.
- Prepare bank deposits and record cash receipts where required.
- Communicate effectively with both internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Employee Expense management and processing.
- Reconcile bank, investment, and credit card accounts, ensuring receipts are matched and accurately documented.
- Maintain accounts receivable and accounts payable ledgers for clients.
- Record daily payments in Salesforce from various payment platforms (e.g., Stripe, Wire transfers).
- Generate monthly invoices and reports.
- Research and resolve payment-related issues promptly.
- Enter invoices into QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Salesforce.
- Prepare cheque runs and manage online payments.
- Maintain a well-organized filing system for both digital and hard copies, including wire and credit card transaction documentation.
- Perform other general office duties as needed.

**Qualifications of the Accounting Associate**
- 2-4 years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably in a similar role.
- Experience in full-cycle accounting, with a focus on AR and AP.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel, x-lookups and pivot tables being a plus.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with a high level of attention to detail.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with various team members.
- Familiarity with QuickBooks Online.
- Strong integrity and the ability to maintain client confidentiality.

Pay: $70,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
