**Job description**:
We are a well established Independent Grocer in the heart of Burlington for 30 years. We have a loyal community of shoppers who frequent our store for its unique experience and independent feel. We are looking for individuals who share in our love of Fine Food, Baking, Cakes, Cooking, Fine Coffees and Teas and have an unwavering dedication to Customer Service to work in our Baking Department, incorporating our small but mighty Coffee Bar.

Our Coffee Bar, Bakery and Deli is the best in the city. It takes a dedicated team of knowledgeable experts to help serve and prepare items for our longstanding clientele. Applicants must be ready to work in a fast paced environment, be willing to learn and have a flexible work schedule. Strong financial acumen, organization and leadership skills are a must. Wages are open for negotiation based on experience and not limited to the outlined range.

**Bakery Manager Responsibilities and Duties**:

- Scheduling,
- Food preparation
- Bread Baking
- Baking and Cake Decoration
- Full Service Hot Foods and Espresso base Beverages
- Packaging,
- Lifting, bending, Twisting, Standing for extended periods of time
- ordering and inventory management
- customer service/ serving
- training

**Bakery Manager qualifications and skills**:

- Experience in Bakery department (Leadership/Management)
- heavy lifting
- use of a Ovens, Slicers, Knives
- flexible hours
- Food handling Certificate (or prepared to get it)
- Good with staff and customers
- Computer Literate/Proficiency
- Flexible Schedule/Full availabilty
