Shermco Canada is hiring a Learning & Development Coordinator
**LEARNING & DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR**
Shermco Industries, the largest independent electrical testing company in North America, is committed to a culture of continual learning. This position is full-time working in Shermco's Corporate Academy to help with training program layout, design, research, delivery, and technical writing. This position will work remotely.
**Job Responsibilities and Expectations**:
- Create Content and templates in PowerPoint utilizing master slides, layouts, triggers, etc.
- Create content utilizing Adobe Creative Cloud and Captivate suites.
- Work collaboratively with Subject Matter Experts within various Shermco departments to obtain training scripts and storyboard training content for course creation.
- Deliver / present information to learners, supervisors, or managers to aid in the overall development and advancement of the workforce.
- Collect, analyze, and act on feedback provided by the workforce.
- Other duties as assigned by the Division Director.
**Minimum Qualifications**: to qualify for consideration, you must meet each of the following minimum qualifications and requirements:
- Minimum of High School Diploma; associate or bachelor’s degree desired.
- 2-3 year of related experience successfully performing similar responsibilities.
- Knowledge of graphics editing and media design.
- Proficiency with Adobe, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Office Suite
- Must possess strong writing and verbal skills, including ability to prepare copy for a variety of course descriptions.
- Must have an outgoing personality and ability to communicate with a variety of people within the organization.
- Ability to follow oral and written instructions.
