**Job Overview**

We also need some administration staff to provide the support to parents and communication with schools and communities.

**Responsibilities**
- Create a supportive classroom environment conducive to learning and personal growth.
- Maintaining a friendly and professional manner at all times
- Develop teaching materials and other resources for program delivery
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
- Provide tutoring assistance using lessons, discussions, presentations
- Teacher up to 3 students at a time at different levels
- Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, quizzes, and projects.
- Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate progress to parents or guardians.

**Skills**
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information to students and parents.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and balance working with up to three students at a time.
- Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes, including educational software and online resources.
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles and needs.
- Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for helping students succeed academically and personally.

**Education**:

- Bachelor’s degree or similar certification in a relevant field
- Fourth-year university students with extensive tutoring experience will be considered
- Good knowledge of Ontario Curriculum(K-12)
- Teaching certification is an asset

**Experience**:

- 1 year+ experience teaching/tutoring at K-12
- Experience of teaching Test Preparation courses (IELTS, TOEFL and Cambridge), University Pathways, Business courses is an asset
