Burnaby, Canada Steamworks Brewery Full time

Steamworks Brewery, located in Burnaby, is currently hiring a Warehouse Coordinator. This position will have a heavy emphasis on scheduling deliveries, shipping & receiving products, coordinating with Brewery transportation, warehouse duties, and will also require working with our team of warehouse assistants on a regular basis. A strong work ethic, ability to multitask and stay focused, capability of working individually as well as with a team, as well as a love for Steamworks beer is required. This is a full-time position working Monday-Friday 8am-4pm.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Warehouse Manager in supervising warehouse staff and provide guidance, including assigning tasks and monitoring their performance.
- Train new employees on warehouse procedures, safety protocols, and equipment operation
- Foster a positive work environment by promoting teamwork, cooperation, and effective communication
- Monitor inventory levels for finished goods and packaging ensuring accurate counting and tracking for shipped/received and available quantities for delivery and production.
- Coordinate with different departments (production, packing, deliveries) to prioritize tasks and manage inventory
- Prioritize and coordinate the picking, packing, and shipping of orders as needed.
- Work with internal and 3rd party transport to ensure that deliveries are efficiently complete
- Plan and optimize the layout of the warehouse to maximize storage space and operational efficiency
- Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment, adhering to safety and regulatory standards.
- Clean and sanitize as needed
- Complete required ERP, Keg Tracking, and warehouse forms accurately and on time
- Organize and track paperwork for traceability of materials and products received/shipped
- Collaborate with management to identify opportunities for process optimization and implement best practices

**Qualifications**:

- Ability to lift 80lbs
- Previous forklift experience
- Effective interpersonal skills
- Positive attitude & eagerness to learn
- Ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- 2+ years shipping/receiving experience
- Computer Savvy
- Outgoing and enthusiastic personality
- Ability to work effectively with mínimal supervision

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
