We are currently seeking a committed and motivated leader to join our Burnaby warehouse as our next Warehouse Lead. In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day safe operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. You will ensure efficient organization of inventory and transportation of products while coordinating with other departments to meet customer needs.
**The day-to-day activities of our Warehouse Lead include**:
- Inventory & Logistics Management - Oversee inventory levels in the branch, coordinate deliveries, ensure proper product rotation, and enforce quality control standards for incoming and outgoing goods, while maintaining accurate documentation.
- Commitment to Safety - Lead efforts to ensure a safe work environment by participating in accident investigations, inspections, and promoting a safety-conscious culture. Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations to protect the well-being of all employees in the warehouse.
- Teamwork and Continuous Improvement - Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to identify process inefficiencies and implement strategies that improve operational efficiency and reduce costs. Foster strong interdepartmental relationships to ensure seamless coordination and smooth operations across the organization.
- 3+ year’s previous experience in a warehouse environment.
- Computer proficiency.
- Prior forklift experience and certification is considered an asset.
**During the interview process, we will assess the following**:
- Ability to climb ladders, work at heights, and lift up to 23 Kg (50lbs); and working in various temperatures and/or dusty environments.

- Inventory & Logistics Management: Show experience in coordinating deliveries, managing documentation, and ensuring quality control standards are met using strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Safety focused mindset: Understanding and enforcing to all safety protocols and procedures and actively seeking ways to improve safety.

**What We Offer**:
- Warehouse Lead salary range is $25 - $28 per hour
- Annual safety boot reimbursement of up to $150.00. All other required PPE provided.
