Nutritional Management Services is looking for an enthusiastic and professional Food Service Manager for our client in the Halton region. If you are passionate about being a part of a team that is driven by innovation and growth, then join us

Applicants should possess the following qualifications:

- CSNM member in good standing
- A current police check with vulnerable persons screening
- 1 - 2 years prior food service supervisory experience ideally in a long-term care or retirement setting
- Enjoys creative meal display, and planning of special meals and events around food
- Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills
- Client’s satisfaction is forefront in daily activities
- Knowledgeable regarding accreditation and government standards
- Strong Production knowledge related to quality food products delivered to seniors and high-quality ordering for the planned menu
- Resident focused with a caring attitude
- A sense of urgency to respond to varying situations as they arise and conflict resolution training
- Understands best practice regarding operation of food service equipment and renovations
- Adherence to strict health, safety and sanitation procedures
- Ability to lift and carry food or supplies inventory of up to 30 lbs.
- Computer experience with Microsoft Office software is essential
- Flexibility to participate in on-site food related events to ensure smooth delivery of service on occasional evenings and weekends

**Job Type**: Full time 37.5 hours/ week

**Experience**:

- Production Management: 1 year (preferred)

License/Certification:

- CSNM Member (preferred)
- Food Handler Certification (preferred)

Work Location: In person
