**What you’ll be working on**
- Perform on-site analysis, diagnosis, and resolution of complex desktop problems for end-users, and recommend and implement corrective solutions.
- Create new hire accounts for local users, including creating accounts in Active Directory, adding computers to the domain, and setting up phones for new hires.
- Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end-user workstations and related hardware and software to deliver required desktop service levels.
- Supporting Windows server 2012 / 2019 in an enterprise environment
- Plan, coordinate and implement changes by following the IT change process
- VMWare administration in an enterprise scale environment
- Office 365 Suite and Azure Administration
- Maintain an accurate inventory of all components and equipment.
- Accurately document instance of equipment or component failure, repair, installation, and removal.
- Assist in developing long-term strategies and capacity planning for meeting future desktop hardware needs.
- Light travel between offices as needed.
- Available for a 24/7 on-call rotation

**What you bring to the role**
- 4+ years of experience setting up, configuring and managing Windows servers.
- Strong understanding of Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, Telecom
- Experience providing support with Azure or AWS.
- PowerShell scripting experience is preferred.
- Fundamental knowledge of Microsoft WSUS, SCOM, SCCM, SQL, and Terminal Services
- Fundamental knowledge of networking principles (TCP/IP, DHCP, SMTP, SNMP, LDAP, LDAPS)
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork skills, analytical and problem-solving skills, written and verbal communication abilities
- Telecom background a plus but not required.
- Ability to conduct research into PC issues and products as required.
- Ability to work unsupervised for long periods of time.
- Effective interpersonal skills and relationship-building skills.
- Strong customer-service orientation
- Valid driver’s license (Position may require travel to the Chelmsford and/or Melville office-mileage paid)
