In addition, we have been recognized as Best Fleets to Drive For several years, a Top Fleet Employer and continue to be a safety industry leader. **What Will You Do?** - To have a general knowledge of minor building repairs involving any required electrical, plumbing, welding, carpentry and preventative maintenance at all locations. - Book outside vendors for major repairs working in conjunction with Terminal Manager. - To complete any "house-keeping" duties not covered by the contract cleaners i.e. painting, sweeping, shovelling etc - Complete a “walk-about” throughout the Wpg building(s) looking for any lights out, washroom issue, outside electrical cords etc. Empty garbage & recycle bins. - Communicate with facility manager regarding major building maintenance, any renovations and any deliveries to be made - Grounds keeping i.e. sweeping, garbage pickup and snow removal from sidewalks and entrances. - Assist and co-operate with employees in the areas of maintenance. - Obtain approval from Terminal Manager before purchasing. If there are standing P.O.'s at suppliers, approval still must be gained before purchasing. - Work in co-operation with all departments as renovations or repairs are required. - Review with facility manager or designate at the beginning of each work shift a list of jobs and their priority. - Pick up and deliver parts and/or product as required.
