This is a full time sales and purchasing position to help clients assess their construction needs, complete site measures, present construction proposals and purchase materials for projects. This is all done to provide clients with exceptional, high quality, worry free, renovations.

Responsibilities include:

- Build and maintain strong relationships with new leads and existing clients, clearly understanding their needs and providing accurate site measure information for the estimator
- Generate new business opportunities and drive sales growth by identifying and pursuing potential clients through cold calling, trade shows, networking events etc to engage prospects, identify their needs, present value propositions, and secure follow-up meetings or sales opportunities
- Work with estimator to prepare and submit accurate sales proposals, bids, and contracts; ensuring all documentation is completed on time and consistent with company standards
- Follow up with clients throughout their project to ensure a positive construction experience
- Purchase all materials and schedule delivery for all projects as required

Qualifications:

- Has a solid understanding of construction methods and processes from start to finish with hands on experience as a preference
- Excellent computer and communication skills (ie knowledge and experience in CRM, project management and estimating software)
- Experience in sales, ideally in construction and renovations would be a strong asset

Key results areas:

- Able to accurately qualify leads
- Able to sell a minimum of $2,000,000 in construction projects per year
- Drive sales through creative and systematic lead generation to continually grow the company
- Build and maintain sales relationships with repeat clients like Good Samaritan Society, Salvation army etc
- Meet with clients, prepare and present proposal quickly and efficiently
- Cultivate excellent relationships with clients and team members to create a positive renovation experience
- Train future sales and project management team members
- Maintain an average client survey score of 8.5 or above for sales experience
- Build and maintain excellent relationships with suppliers and work to obtain good pricing
- Ensure all products needed are on the job site to create a seamless installation process

Wages:

- $60,000 base salary plus 1.5% commission (further details can be provided)
- Vehicle allowance
- Holiday and Vacation pay

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year

Additional pay:

- Bonus pay
