**Overview**

**Duties**
- Prepare and chop ingredients for various dishes, including vegetables, meats, and sauces.
- Assist in the cooking process by following recipes and instructions from the head chef or kitchen manager.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, ensuring all food safety standards are met.
- Help with inventory management by checking stock levels and reporting shortages to management.
- Adhere to proper food handling techniques to ensure quality and safety of all food items.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations during service times.

**Experience**
- Previous experience in the food service industry is preferred but not mandatory; a willingness to learn is essential.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and kitchen equipment is advantageous.
- Knowledge of food safety standards and practices is highly desirable.
- Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work under pressure in a busy restaurant environment are crucial.
