Mt. Arrowsmith Childcare Ltd. is currently seeking a passionate and dedicated **Early Childhood Educator (ECE) or ECEIT** to join our team in beautiful Port Alberni, BC. We’re looking for someone who loves working with children, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is committed to providing a safe, nurturing, and inclusive space for early learning and development.

**What We Offer**:

- **Hourly Wage**: $23/hour to start
- **ECE Wage Enhancement**: Additional **$6/hour** through the BC Wage Enhancement Program
- **Benefits Package**: Available after 6-month probation period
- **Paid Time Off**:

- **4% vacation pay**:

- **Additional 3 weeks paid vacation** at seasonal closures
- **Paid sick days**

**Qualifications**:

- Valid **Early Childhood Educator certification** license to practice in British Columbia required
- Valid **First Aid certification**:

- Clear **Criminal Record Check**:

- 2 Reference letters
- Immunization records
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- A genuine love for working with children

**Responsibilities**:

- Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programming
- Create a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment
- Foster positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
- Support children’s emotional, physical, and cognitive development
