**Business Analyst (3-year term)**

**Alcool NB Liquor / Cannabis NB**

Alcool NB Liquor is embarking on a multi-year business transformation project, including the implementation of Microsoft D365.

**About the position**:

- We are seeking Business Analysts to document, analyze, and evaluate ANBL and Cannabis NB’s business processes for the duration of the project. Reporting to the Functional Project Manager and in support of their functional area, they work cross-functionally to research and gather business requirements and make recommendations to increase efficiency, usability, and cost-savings. These senior-level roles act as SMEs to the rest of the ANBL and Cannabis NB organizations and collaborates closely with the Operations, Vendor Management, and Retail teams to troubleshoot complex technical issues and technology opportunities.

**We are seeking BAs in the following areas**
- Business Intelligence
- Channel Sales
- Finance, Operations, Compliance
- Human Resources
- Marketing
- Supply Chain Planning
- Warehousing

**What will you be doing?**
- Documenting business and system requirements, including feasibility studies, preparing business cases, and conducting initial risk assessments
- Analyzing current state and future state system capabilities to make recommendations and design solutions
- Creating project analysis documentation, including requirements, scope, milestones, use cases, future state proposals, UAT plans, etc.
- Advanced-level business system support and troubleshooting
- Identifying and escalating issues to ensure corrective actions are taken and project objectives are achieved

**Technical stack**
- Microsoft technologies, including SharePoint, Office 365, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Power BI Reporting, Power Platform (Apps), Azure, SQL, SQL Server, SSRS, and SSIS

**What do you need to be successful?**
- Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or similar
- 3 - 8+ years of related BA progressive experience, ideally including working on large scale implementations/upgrades
- Strong data analytical skills with SQL and Excel
- Excellent time management, communication, facilitation, influencing, and change management skills
- Familiarity across multiple functional departments, including Finance, Retail, Supply Chain, Category Management, Human Resources, Operations, etc.

**It would be fantastic if you also had**
- Prior experience in the retail or CPG industry
- Experience working with ERPs, preferably Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong project management skills to develop project plans and specifications, estimate time and resources, monitor milestones, track progress, and provide timely updates

**Location**
- Reporting into the Retail Operations Centre (ROC) in Fredericton, New Brunswick
- Occasional travel to ROC is expected for meetings and planning sessions
