The Assistant Product Manager is responsible for managing all Bank product collateral (external and internal facing) and is the owner of the processes around creating and updating Advisor/Broker/Client facing product materials (digital and print), as well as responsible for the implementation of product rate changes and communication of new rates. You will liaise with the Bank’s Product teams, Marketing and Communications teams and other stakeholders where appropriate. This role is also the Document Records Specialist (DRS) for the Bank product team.

Manulife Bank has a unique distribution approach and product strategy, and the Assistant Product Manager ensures that the Bank’s product collateral and rate changes are executed flawlessly to support our Sales teams, referral partners and clients

**Key **Accountabilities**:

- Development and maintenance of all Bank product collateral. The individual will be required to collaborate with multiple areas and ensure any recommended new collateral meets the needs of multiple stakeholders: clients, referral sources, and internal audiences.
- Monitoring of collateral usage. The individual will be responsible for measuring collateral usage and will recommend and action the updating or eliminating of collateral based on usage rates. As well as managing restocking low-stock items as needed so Sales teams, Operations, Advisors and others all have the materials the need to order, and statement runs can be done (stationary, envelopes, etc).
- Simplifying and consolidate Bank collateral. The individual will recommend and action opportunities to consolidate, digitize, or simplify the Bank’s current product collateral to ensure it continues to meet the needs of stakeholders.
- Represent the product team on any initiative requiring new collateral development or changes to existing collateral.
- Document Records Specialist (DRS) for the Bank’s product Team. The individual will ensure the product team maintains compliance with Manulife’s Records and Information Management (RIM) standards and processes
- Develop and implement any applicable department Records Management procedures as required by the RIM Centre of Excellence
- Report annually on product team’s Inventory and Retention Schedules.
- Development of product collateral that meets the needs of multiple stakeholders. The Assistant Manager will work with other areas of the Bank to ensure our product collateral is accurate, useful, engaging and informative for its audiences.
- Submitting & coordinating requests to the Design team and managing the proofing & approval processes for collateral.
- Submitting, coordinating and managing translation requests.
- Submitting and coordinating the posting of materials (updated and new) on a variety of platforms (Advisor Portal, Broker Portal, Bank.ca)
- Vendor Management of design companies, print procurement, print house, and others
- Advisor rate change process: coordinating the updating of rates for Advisors on Advisor Portal and coordinating & deploying the communication of new rates to Advisors and internal audiences
- Supporting the Product Team with projects & regulatory changes, particularly where collateral may be impacted
