**The Opportunity**

There is no better place that demonstrates this passion than Hotel at the Waldorf, Vancouver’s famed cultural hub in much loved and vibrant East Van. From our iconic Polynesian-themed Tiki Bar and venues Tabu and the Hideaway to our retro hotel rooms, **Hotel at the Waldorf** has you stepping back in time to relive different eras of Vancouver. Hotel at the Waldorf is an experience to be explored with a sense of whimsy and a relaxed attitude.

We are looking for a **Night Auditor**to come and join our team. We are looking for someone who strives to give the best customer service experience.

**What You’ll Do**
- Investigate problems further by verifying all revenue and expenses were claimed, preparing the next day’s reports, including reconciling accounts with proficiency
- Must have open availability for audit shifts. **Audits shifts are overnight from (11:00 pm-7:00 am). Must be available 7 days per week**
- Provide exceptional guest experience while maximizing the hotel’s profitability while simultaneously providing supervision, training, coaching, motivation, and policy implementation.
- Ensure customer satisfaction, and handles any requests that may arise on an ad hoc basis
- Provide courteous, professional and pleasant phone manner
- Guest check-ins and outs, promptly, professionally with a welcoming manner
- Answering internal and external phones and transferring to proper departments
- Answering the reservation line and assisting guests with bookings or inquiries.
- Handling guest complaints and concerns in an efficient and timely manner
- Must follow procedures and policies implemented by the Hotel
- Provide tourist information to Hotel guests
- Performing general office duties
- Responsible for cash float and processing proper form of payment
- Balance all accounts, statements and clerk batch’s

**What You Have**
- Must Have 1 -2 years previous audit experience in hotel
- Must be detailed orientated, self-motivated and reliable
- Solid customer service skills
- Experience handling hotel’s cash flow
- Must be able to identify and communicate and issues as soon as they arise
- Must be available to start immediately
- Must be currently living in B.C., Canada.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada to be considered. (valid work or study permit for min of 2 years)
