EveryMind Mental Health Services is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Human Resources Professional with an interest in the non-profit health sector to join our team in a contractual role.
EveryMind is an accredited children and youth mental health centre that provides a continuum of high-quality mental health services to enrich the lives of children, youth and their families who are experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioural challenges. Our services are provided in a dynamic, client-centred environment that values respect and inclusion, collaboration, learning, innovation and accountability.
Under the guidance of the Director, People & Culture, the HR Supervisor is responsible for delivering customer - oriented, proactive and progressive human resource services, as part of the People & Culture team, in support of the strategic objectives of EveryMind Mental Health Services.
The People and Culture department activities supports the development of the organization’s reputation and position, to internal and external stakeholders, as leaders in the delivery of quality services supported by sound management practices.
The HR Supervisor is responsible for supporting the People & Culture team in the core areas of Recruitment & Selection, Training and Development, Benefits and Compensation, Payroll, Performance Management and Employee Relations.
**This is an 18-month parental leave replacement contract from January 2025 to July 2026.**
**Hiring Salary range - $85,045 - $91,985**
Please note that hiring salaries are commensurate with experience and generally start at the beginning of the range.

**Responsibilities**:
- Work with team to ensure smooth functioning of day-to-day operations of the People & Culture Department related to hiring, staffing issues, HRIS, payroll, time and attendance, leave management, policy development and interpretation, benefits & compensation, employee accommodations, health and safety.
- Ensure all employee changes in the HRIS, including pay changes, employee status changes related time and attendance policies, are accurately completed.
- Responsible for ensuring semi-monthly payroll entries are correctly processed.
- Support the full cycle recruitment and selection process for the organization.
- Responsible for ensuring that the organizations’ HRIS system (ADP Workforce Now), including the Career Centre is functioning at an optimum level.
- Responsible for promoting employee engagement and wellness by organizing various staff events, in collaboration with various internal committees.
- Responsible for supporting employee benefit plans and pension plan, and implement any changes resulting from reconciliation.
- Employee Leave coordination and management, including communication with benefits provider.
- Work closely with Communications department and external job boards to ensure EveryMind’s brand as an employer is managed and promoted.
- Respond to inquiries from employees, students and management and provide guidance and direction with respect to policies and procedures and applicable employment standards and legislation.
- Provide supportive customer - oriented approach with accurate, timely and courteous service to all employees.
**Qualifications and Skills**
- A University degree in Human Resources or Organizational Development or a related field.
- Certified HR Professional (CHRP) designation.
- A minimum of five (5) years of Human Resources generalist experience, including a broad range of Human Resource initiatives, such full cycle Recruitment & Selection, Payroll, Training and Development, Benefits and Compensation, Performance Management, Employee Relations.
- At least 1 year of formal leadership experience within an Human Resources department, team;
- Informal leadership experience such as leading projects and committees will be considered relevant.
