Live in Resident Caretaker for 36- unit building in Colwood

If you enjoy interacting with others, are passionate about providing a clean & safe environment for residents, take pride in a job well done, this may be the role for you.
Compensation - $50,000.00 - Rent Reduction

Specific duties included, but not limited to:
Maintain ongoing positive relationships with residents
Showing units when necessary
Conduct Move out & Move In Inspections with ZInspector
Carry out Minor repairs & maintenance issues in suite and building
Respond to emergencies which occur during and occasionally outside work hours
Ability to work flexible hours
Arranging, coordinating & supervising trades
Cleaning interior & exterior common areas of the building
Snow removal/Salting (building walkways, parking lot & City Side walk
Be available by cellular phone when out of the suite
Ability to work well with mínimal supervision

HOURS - Sunday to Thursday, 9 am to 5 pm **OR** Tuesday to Saturday, 9 am to 5 pm
Required to live on site.

QUALIFICATIONS
3-4 years resident manager experience or related experience in a similar role
Good knowledge of building management & maintenance requirements
Clean & professional appearance
Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing & minor repairs
Good working knowledge of computers
Good understanding of Residential Tenancy Act
Strong organization skills & attention to detail
Proven handyman skills
Must have a valid driver’s license & access to a vehicle at all times during employment
**This is a No Pets - Non-Smoking Building**
**Previous Caretaker References Required**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Work Location: In person
