**LOGISTICS ASSISTANT REQUIRED**

**Role**:
Custom Courier Co. Ltd. is looking for a person to assist operations and administration.

The logistics assistant has many responsibilities and is required to perform a wide range of duties including, but not limited to the following:
**Customer Service**:

- Assist in answering a multi line telephone system along with other staff members taking customer requests for service.

**Clerical Duties**:

- Assist operations with - Booking customer requests for service.
- Writing up and giving customers quotes for service.
- Navigating customer portals as required.
- Maintain required files and records.
- Assist administration with - Data entry.
- Process customer billing reports.
- File scanning.

**Qualifications**:

- Should have a recognized Office Administration Diploma or equivalent education/experience.
- Knowledge of transportation industry is an asset.
- Must posses excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Must be able to work co-operatively and effectively with others to resolve problems and make decisions to enhance

customer service.
- Must be self motivated and able to work independently.
- Must posses excellent time management skills, give attention to details and have the ability to prioritize daily work

loads.
- Have the ability to multitask and envision the completion and purpose of each task assigned.
- Proficiency in using and working with Windows 10, Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher, Access, and

PDF creation, along with other general office equipment.
- Should understand basic database programs and methods of saving, appending, and updating these programs.
- Must possess an awesome sense of humour.

**Working Conditions**:

- This position will be scheduled for 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. This schedule may

require some flexibility and occasional overtime.
- Working with 20 other full-time staff members.
- You will find that the management of Custom Courier will spend a great deal of time making your experience here a

pleasant one. Each person is an individual with individual needs. We believe that individual circumstances should be

kept in mind. Open, honest communication is essential. High moral standards are provided to you and expected from

you as well.

**Remuneration**:

- Wages will be based on prior experience and qualifications with a range of $20 - $24 per hour.
- Health plan, pension plan matching and profit sharing available.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
