The Opportunity:
4 month work term: May - August 2025
or 4 month work term: September - December 2025
How You Will Contribute:
This role will be mentored by one of our senior engineers and will be guided as needed by the design and verification primes. As a Digital Verification/Design Co-op, you will:
- Support of our ASIC design and verification team through debug of subsystem level simulations.
- Help is development and support of our IP ASIC design and verification environment.
- Specification gathering and review.
- Implementation Doc updates.
- Scripting to add to team efficiency.
- Coverage analysis.
The Must Haves:
- Foundational knowledge of of digital logic and/or communication theory.
- Good programming and debugging skills.
Assets:
- Working in mixed-Signal verification is considered an asset.
- Familiarity System Verilog knowledge
- Some background in Forward error correction
- STA knowledge
- C/C++ Knowledge
- Object oriented programming and scripting
Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business. Please note that the pay range information provided in this posting pertains specifically to the primary location, which is the top location listed in case multiple locations are available.
