As a Digital Verification/Design Co-op, you will:Support of our ASIC design and verification team through debug of subsystem level simulations.Help is development and support of our IP ASIC design and verification environment.Specification gathering and review.Implementation Doc updates.Scripting to add to team efficiency.Coverage analysis.The above lists are intended to describe the general nature and level of work by the selected candidate. You will have an opportunity to better understand the role through the interview experience.The Must Haves:Working towards completion of 3rd or 4th year undergraduate in suitable subject within a Computer or Electrical Engineering Dept. with good standing.Foundational knowledge of of digital logic and/or communication theory.Good programming and debugging skills.Resourcefulness and methodical problem-solving approach are key to a successful candidateAssets:Working in mixed-Signal verification is considered an asset.Familiarity System Verilog knowledgeSome background in Forward error correctionSTA knowledgeC/C++ KnowledgeObject oriented programming and scriptingPay Range: The hourly pay range for this position is $24.50 - $33.00Pay ranges at Ciena are designed to accommodate variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions, and locations, reflecting our diverse products, industries, and lines of business.
