**Warehouse Receiver**

**(Full Time Hours Guaranteed)**

At E.G. Penner Building Centres Ltd., a COR Certified supplier, we strive to be the premier building, home improvement and design centre in Southeastern Manitoba.

We have an opportunity for an experienced, knowledgeable, and motivated Warehouse Receiver to ensure the accurate and seamless reception and processing of incoming shipments.

Key Responsibilities:

- Receiving and inspecting of incoming shipments to verify contents, count, quality and damage.
- Processing of material receipts and shipments into the inventory and accounting systems.
- Report receiving deviations to the purchasing group.
- Inventory management is an essential function for this position.
- Load and unload shipments regularly, with the capability of repetitive heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs.), and use of any necessary equipment, such as forklift.

Skills & Qualifications:

- Previous warehouse experience is a definite asset.
- Must understand the impact of this position to other business functions that depend on the accuracy and efficiency of incoming items.
- Must work well in a team and have the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong data entry, organizational skills, and attention to detail are definite assets.
- Preferably experienced with a forklift, order picker, and pallet jack. Must have willingness to train to receive appropriate certification for required use of powered equipment.
