Intake Specialist

Unified LLP’s union-side labour department is seeking a passionate and dedicated **Intake Specialist** to join our team of advocates. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will play a crucial role in supporting union members and contributing to the fight for workers’ rights.
As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for:
- Interviewing union members to gather and document their experiences
- Maintaining meticulous records and keeping accurate notes
- Opening and managing files for ongoing cases
- Collaborating closely with legal counsel to ensure effective case management
- Experience working with members of the public
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- A passion for working people and a commitment to the union movement
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
While there are no formal qualifications required for this role, the following would be considered an asset:
- Post-secondary education
- Legal qualifications from outside of Canada
- A law clerk certificate or similar legal credentials
- Experience working with or for unions and their members
- Previous experience in high-pressure environments
- Health benefits package; and
- 4 weeks of paid leave.

Pay: $45,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
