Due to recent growth, Atrium has an exciting opening for a **Showroom & Warehouse Merchandiser.**

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Merchandiser assists with the transportation, placement and set up of all of the products transferring to and from the showroom. Working with the Visual Merchandiser, this position is an asset in facilitating the visual merchandising process. This is a ‘hands-on’ lead role that involves working with a small group and ensuring processes and procedures are being followed, while also fulfilling day-to-day warehouse and customer support.

**RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES**:

- Taking direction from the Visual Merchandiser to transport, move, and display products in the showroom;
- Manage store transfers to and from the warehouse;
- Assist customers with all pickups;
- Receive and label accessories;
- Ensuring processes and procedures are being followed; training and coaching team members as needed;
- Assembling furniture;
- Participating in cycle counts, tagging products;
- Identifying and recommending areas of improvement/opportunity and relaying to Store Manager;
- Driving Company vehicles as needed, participating in deliveries, considered an asset;
- Ensuring warehouse compliance with all OHS legislation.
- Other warehouse duties as required.

**Education and Experience**:

- 2+ years previous of experience working in a warehouse is considered an asset
- Previous experience in the furniture and/or delivery industry a strong asset;
- Relevant post-secondary diploma or degree is an asset, but equivalent experience may be considered.

**Skills and Abilities**:

- Knowledge of inventory management a strong asset;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Strong problem solving - able to come up with creative solutions to delivery obstacles;
- Positive attitude - team oriented;
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

**OTHER**:

- Criminal background check is required;
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds is required;
- Ability to walk, stand, crouch and kneel often is required.

**Salary**: $16.00-$19.00 per hour
