**Position Summary**

We are looking for highly energized and self-motivated individuals to join our team as a Vaccination Administrator to support Quinte Health’s COVID and influenza immunization campaign.

**Required**
- RN, RPN, paramedic, or pharmacy technicians who are certified to administer intramuscular medications
- Registration with their governing body (CNO etc) and be in good standing
- Reliable and punctual
- Demonstrated acceptable attendance and performance record
- Excellent work ethic and positive attitude that demonstrates Quinte Health's values -Must be available to work all shifts as required, which may include, weekends, day and evening shifts.
- Basic first aid/CPR certified
- Willing to wear personal protective apparel (gown, gloves, mask and face shield) and abide by requirements prescribed for their use

**Duties**
- Administer immunizations in a clinic environment
- Monitor patients for side effects post injection and intervene should any reactions occur
- Provide education regarding the immunization
- Document vaccine administration (both on paper and computer)
- Must be able to accept direction and work with minimum supervision.
- Other duties as assigned.
