**Salary**: $2,626.89 to $3,448.73 bi-weekly ($68,561 - $90,011/year)

Alberta Infrastructure designs, builds, manages and maintains government-owned and operated facilities, and collaborates with other ministries to ensure that schools, hospitals and government facilities infrastructure meet the needs of Alberta’s population. The Ministry also provides accommodation services and manages a large portfolio of owned and leased facilities while maintaining fiscal accountability and optimizing value for Albertans.

This position works within the Project Management Centre of Excellence (PMCOE), the primary resource centre within Alberta Infrastructure for business processes and best practices that facilitate continuous improvement, flexibility, innovation, and creativity in relation to infrastructure project management and delivery. The PMCOE is dedicated to the development and enhancement of best practices in project management processes and guidelines with an integrated approach to enhancing the quality and success of infrastructure projects, as well as mitigate risk, manage costs, reduce waste and duplication through creation and implementation of project-specific websites, resources, and systems.

**Role Responsibilities**:
Reporting to the Senior Project Management Support Specialist, the Project Management (PM) Systems Configuration Specialist position supports the business technical development, implementation, enhancement and maintenance of the department’s project management information system and tools to ensure it meets organizational goals and priorities to manage all major infrastructure projects managed by Alberta Infrastructure. The position is responsible for quality assurance, information management, and transfer through the identification, documentation, and standardization of business processes used for infrastructure and other project delivery methods. As a business super user of available tools and systems such as the Microsoft suite of programs, this position works with multiple business areas as well as with GoA’s Technology & Innovation teams with enterprise level information technology solutions as they relate to project management initiatives, systems and tools.

The primary responsibilities for the Project Management Systems Configuration Specialist include, but are not limited to:

- Provide leadership and coordinate responsibilities of business resources to the development, implementation, enhancement, and maintenance of the PM system(s).
- Provide expertise on solution options, factoring in complexity, sustainability, scope and usability. This includes leveraging advanced SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerAutomate, Excel and PowerBI functionalities.
- Facilitate business change process to ensure changes are delivered in accordance with organizational objectives.
- Offer consultative and advisory support to business units by identifying business process impacts of business decisions, including opportunities to develop new and/or enhance technical solutions to support data collection, workflows, data analytics, communications, data visualization, reporting, controls and quality assurance.
- Identify process and system change requirements that are necessary to support business needs.
- Lead PM system stakeholder engagement sessions focused on continuous system improvements and enhancements Develop and maintain documentation relating to system configurations and user guidesThe Project Management Systems Configuration Specialist will play a key role in our project management systems development with a business system administrative focus and will be involved in working with key business users to understand and document their business requirements, define new solutions to meet those requirements and develop end user training.
