**WHAT TO EXPECT**:
As an Inventory Specialist you will be responsible for ensuring that there is a balance between SAP inventory and physical inventory. You will also be responsible for ensuring that the inventory valuation is as accurate as possible, i.e. that there is no under
- or over-valuation of the quantity of raw materials and products in the warehouse. You will have to analyze inventory quantity discrepancies and the resulting operational impacts.

Here's an overview of your tasks:

- Manage the location of inventory between the plant and the warehouse
- Analyze, coordinate and adjust SAP inventory with physical inventory on a daily basis
- Provide interdepartmental support in the management of daily emergencies and material discrepancies;
- Ensure proper labeling, identification and disposition of materials and products in the inventory
- Research and analyze the causes of various inventory discrepancies
- Perform weekly physical counts of supplies, physical counts
- Cyclically verify inventories to minimize discrepancies in the systems

Your challenges at the END OF MONTH / END OF YEAR:

- Be the contact person for employees during monthly and annual counts and inventories
- Supervise and interact with forklift operators during monthly warehouse inventories
- Conduct month-end inventory and analyze quantity discrepancies
- In close collaboration with the financial analyst, present and finalize month-end and year-end inventory adjustments
- Analyze, coordinate and adjust the SAP inventory with the physical inventory
- In close collaboration with the manufacturing operations, carry out the complete year-end inventory of finished goods, raw materials, semi-finished goods and packaging

**WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR**:

- You have a College Diploma or Attestation of Collegial Studies in Logistics (an asset)
- You have 3-5 years of relevant experience in a similar field
- You have good communication skills and are a recognized team player
- You have a very good computer knowledge and knowledge of SAP software (an asset)
- You have strong analytical skills
- You are meticulous, structured and rigorous
- You are multi-tasking and resourceful and are able to take on several projects
- You have the ability to remain calm in complex and tense situations
- You are comfortable speaking English (3/5)
