As a Marketing Events/Logistics Coordinator, you’ll coordinate Global Excel presence across international, regional and internal conferences and different types of events. You’ll ensure all materials are created, ordered and shipped to various destinations. You will be working with internal stakeholders and external suppliers, including transport specialists, promotional items and event organizers. This position also entails contributing to marketing activities and organizing promotional items inventory by coordinating suppliers and ensuring our brand is properly positioned during events.
**What does your typical day look like?**
- Coordinate the presence of Global Excel and subsidiaries in conferences in Canada, USA, LATAM, Europe and Asia;
- Place orders for materials and services as needed for each event including printed materials, promotional items, booths, A/V equipment, shipping, furniture and more;
- Working with the marketing team to continuously ensure brand visibility maximized during events;
- Identify ongoing opportunities for Global Excel speakers, based on market needs and expertise required.

**What skills and experience are we looking for?**
- College Diploma or equivalent (AEC);
- 3-5 years of marketing experience with an emphasis on logistics, planning and coordination of events;
- Ability to jump from the creative side of marketing to analytical side;
- Excellent communication skills in English and French (verbal and written) with the ability to effectively motivate external suppliers;
- Knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point) an asset;
- Occasional availability outside of normal working hours;
- Be able to lift small boxes and bags which would contain promotional items and booth equipment.
