**You as an Estimator will**:
Confidently lead a team through the completion of a bid process under pressure while building strong relationships with sub-trades
Assemble accurate, timely and well organized estimates, including hard-bid, construction management and design-build
Organize sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful, re-writing binders and assisting the buy-out process
Monitor the success of a project, noting potential challenges and building relationships with sub-trades for future opportunities
Distribute sub-trade quotes to personnel, flagging areas of concern and coordinating with management to accommodate risk within the bid price
Maintain databases, including labour rates, material pricing and project costs, for future reference

Is this the right role for you?

You have a construction-related degree/diploma and a minimum of 5 years of civil estimating or field related experience
You have estimating experience with earthworks, underground and roadworks
Ability to use AutoCad is an asset
Strong understanding of unit rate bid process and software (ie. Bid2Win, or similar)
You have a working knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts
Estimating experience in P3, Design Build, Design Build Facilities Management, Lump Sum, and Construction Management contracts is essential
You have the ability to work effectively and accurately in time-sensitive situations within a team
Be comfortable working autonomously, while providing updates when needed, and following EllisDon procedures at all times
