**Job Description**:

- Manages planned yard moves to ensure who is available to Dock Teams
- Acts as primary point of contact for carriers arriving to shipping office
- Liaise with shunt truck vendor to manage schedule requirements
- Responsible for yard capacity and liaising with carriers and internal teams to clear assets on premises
- Support in developing and distributing pre-receiving paperwork to dock teams
- Oversees trailer seal log and verification process
- Oversees completion of trailer safety inspections
- Organizes, manages and supports warehouse in special projects as needed

**Qualifications**:

- 1-2 years of warehouse/transportation/store operations experience is preferred
- Preferably at least one year in Distribution Center Operations in a high volume, high SKU replenish and pick environment
- A passion for logistics
- High drive with a will to make a difference and succeed.
- Great interpersonal skills
- Role is expected to work outside in various temperatures to manage yard
- An overall pro-active and open mind-set
- A good understanding of IT systems and how you work with the functionality provided
- Ability to train others
- Excellent Computer Skills
